Create a Counterproposal

If you would like to send a counterproposal in GIC using one of our documents, our system will track any updated terms or dates/deadlines that are filled out within the counterproposal. We make the counter process very simple.

How to Counter:

  1. Within your deal room, select "Create a Counter"

  2. The system will create a Counterproposal and take you to the editing view.

  3. Click the Auto-Fill button to pull in available data from the system.

  4. Fill out your counterproposal. Input only the dates that you want to change.

  5. Once you're done, go back to your Deal Room and click the Request Client Signatures button.

  6. Once your client has signed, share with the buy side of the transaction using the 'Share Docs with Buyer's Agent' button.

  7. The document will show a small green envelope icon next to its name to confirm it has been shared.
