Deal Room — Share Docs with the Other Agent

Once an external agent has accepted their Deal Room access, you can share documents with them seamlessly using the 'Share Documents' button inside the relevant folder.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1: Open the Deal Room Folder

  • Click into the folder where you want to share documents.

  • Example: If sharing disclosures, you'll need to copy them into that deal room folder first.

2: Copy Disclosures into Deal Room

  • Click 'Copy' to open the copy modal.

  • Select the disclosures you wish to pull into this deal room.

  • Click 'Add Documents' to complete.

3: Share Documents with Deal Room Agent

  • Click the 'Share Documents' button.

  • Select the documents you wish to share.

  • Click 'Share with Deal Room' give the other agent access to these documents.

    • They'll receive an email notification with the file names, and the docs will automatically appear in their view of the Deal Room.

4: Confirmation of Sharing

  • Look for the small green envelope icon next to the documents to confirm they have been sent.
